Jobseekers more likely to respond to digital job briefs Employers looking for more relevant applications need to produce a video showcasing the job.
A recent LinkedIn poll asking how helpful a short video from a hiring manager would be in the application process has produced a landslide result, with 125 respondents (84%) suggesting they would be ‘in favour of the idea’.
Given the demand these days for contemporary digital engagement the outcome of this poll is perhaps not surprising, so why then we are we not seeing many corporate videos accompanying standard job copy? Surely bringing the company and the role to life will increase job applications? And, crucially, relevant ones.
