An exciting new opportunity to work within our evolving E-commerce team has arisen and we are looking for an Online Content Executive who excels in attention to detail.  The role will be varied and fast-paced with the key focus of maintaining, and ensuring the accuracy of content on our web platforms using various Content Management Systems. The Online Content Executive will work closely with, and assist, the Content Manager.  The successful candidate will work within the versatile and friendly Ecommerce team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Proofreading copy to check spelling and punctuation, and ensuring that it is grammatically correct and matches house style and brand guidelines.
  • Supporting the achievement of business targets through a rich online customer experience that promotes the brands in the best possible way.
  • Delivering aspects of tactical sales campaigns by checking, loading and publishing content on a daily and weekly basis, and ensuring that it is accurate, consistent and appropriately linked to offline marketing.
  • Loading content into the CMS and publishing it onto the websites.
  • To test and publish products to the live sites, and run daily performance tests.
  • Working with key content providers (particularly in the Product and Marketing teams) to ensure that the best possible content for each product is published online.
  • Managing the content of landing pages for both offline and online promotions.
  • Design and creation of new sections or ‘micro-sites’ (with the support of the Content Manager).

Must Have Skills and Experience:

  • Excellent proofreading skills and an ability to apply style rules consistently.
  • Ability to effectively perform well under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • The willingness to take the initiative while remaining remain accurate, organised and consistent under pressure
  • Experience using a variety of Content Management Systems
  • The ability to adapt to changing systems and processes, and to learn complex processes quickly and well
  • An enthusiastic team player.
