Our client is a leading leisure brand and they have an exciting new role for a PPC lead. Reporting to the Paid Media Manager, the Senior PPC Lead will be responsible for developing the paid search activity for key brands, working in partnership with external agencies and key suppliers in order to develop best practice strategies that exceed business targets.
In this exciting new position, the successful candidate will work within the ever growing, fast paced Marketing Team, dealing with large scale, high spend accounts to ensure that all are managed effectively and have a robust commercial strategy in place, together with specific performance targets and objectives tailored to meet or exceed the business and commercial expectations.
You will manage the relationship with Google/Doubleclick, Bing and other 3rd parties as and when required. You will handle the day-to-day management of paid search campaigns, and ensure that all accounts are utilizing the latest techniques and strategies to ensure we stay ahead of our competitors. A high degree of paid search expertise is required for this role.
The PPC accounts are a key driver for traffic for the business, so this position has high visibility with senior stakeholders. Witha PPC spend in the tens of millions of poundsthis position will have regular, direct access to Google Industry Heads & Managers, attend quarterly product briefing by Google, ensure the accounts are on whitelists / beta trials, and attend Google Product meetings in Dublin.
As PPC Lead you will assist in the training and mentoring of junior team members to help develop key skills for the future. You will ensure tracking and analytics processes are setup and fully adhered to when implementing campaigns and run regular and ad-hoc reporting to create engaging reports and presentations for senior stakeholders to review.
To be successful in this role, you will need extensive experience of working in the paid search environment, managing large-scale, complex, results-driven campaigns with significant budgets. Fantastic working knowledge of Doubleclick and the automated bidding platform within it and a good working knowledge across multiple biddable media platforms, including YouTube, Facebook and Retargeting are essential for this role. You will have a high level of attention to detail, and a demonstrable passion for all things digital, keeping abreast of key industry trends with a hunger for innovation.
