A top five University, short listed by the Sunday Times for the University of the Year Award, is looking for an experienced Digital Acquisition Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to work in the Higher Education sector alongside other talented Marketing professionals.
Your new role
Working with the chosen digital media agencies, the Digital Acquisition Manager is responsible for developing and executing media plans that drive high quality leads and relevant traffic to the University's digital platforms, in order to meet or exceed targets for visits, lead generation and engagement. These targets are set in accordance to business needs around new student acquisition, as well as building national and international brand reputation. The successful candidate will be a champion in how they use campaign data to optimise their activities, as well as driving the usage of analytics and reporting to measure and improve what they do. You will act as an integral part of the Marketing and Communication planning process to understand the commercial and brand requirements of each campaign and propose bought media opportunities to best deliver on those needs.
What you'll need to succeed
To apply you will need significant experience of managing digital media agencies to develop successful media plans and overseen day-to-day bought media activities. You will need strong knowledge of bought media channels including PPC, paid social, content marketing, programmatic display, etc. and experience of Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics (or similar platforms) to optimally set up a data analytics framework.
You will be highly numerate with an ability and passion for generating dashboards and doing ad hoc data analysis to measure the success of campaign activities and drive insight into decision making.
