Mid-Senior Drupal Developer needed to join a seriously cool digital agency at their awesome studio in central Bristol.  They’re looking for a self-motivated developer to work on exciting web and app projects for an amazing array of clients from the Music, Entertainment and Retail industries.  Working within this down-to-earth, fun team you’ll be able to put some really impressive projects under your belt and pick up some cutting edge tech.

What experience you'll need

They’re looking for someone with strong Drupal architecture/API experience, Drupal 7 module development, configuration and theming.  In addition they’ll expect you to be able to bring competent PHP, HTML5, CSS3, SASS/LESS, Javascript/JQuery, GIT, Drush and 3rd party API integration skills.  Bonus points for any experience of Twig templating, PHP MVC (i.e.Symfony), Varnish/APC/Memcache, Gulp/Grunt and any JS library skills e.g. Angular, React etc.  Most important will be being able to hit the ground running, be sociable and enthusiastic about the challenge. 

What you'll be doing

You’ll be working alongside some quality devs and designers, UX’ers and account teams working on a wide range of sites and apps for startups, FMCG brands and huge high traffic household name sites.  This creative agency are one of the South-West’s most revered, you’ll be developing some seriously impressive products with the freedom to contribute and select/evaluate the tech you need to make your work amazing.  Core duties will cover Drupal 7 and 8 module development, theming, installation and configuration.  Also there’s a good opportunity to mentor/coach others, suggest new ideas to improve quality and efficiency and take ownership of planning, estimating and tracking projects.  They’re doing more and more work in Angular(2) in and Agile/Scrum set-up as well as working increasingly with Symfony, Drupal 8 and others, so plenty to pick up.
