Head of E-Commerce

As a new role for the business, the Head of eCommerce will have the opportunity to truly develop and plan the strategy for the eCommerce team. Leading a small team you will be responsibility for driving incremental e-commerce revenues and opportunities. This role will also take full responsibility for managing existing high profile affiliate programmes and working with analytics and content teams.

The role will also involve:

  • Leading a team consisting of product developers, content and commercial strategy thinkers
  • Managing and developing high profile campaigns
  • Selling e-commere related sponsorship packages direct to client across verticals
  • Reviewing ROI and other performance indicators
  • Tracking partner sponsorships and negotiating relationships affiliate networks
  • Understanding of merchandising on e-commerce sites to maximise converstion
  • Able to develop content
  • Reviewing performance and putting measures in place to ensure success.
  • Full responsibility for trading on the site.
  • Working cross functionally
  • Responsible for managing suppliers and buying goods for resale

For this role it would be distinct advantage if you have:

  • Experience of PUBLISHING
  • Working in Consumer technology
  • Experience of writing and delivering strategic programmes
  • Building relationships internally and externally
  • Experience of managing an agile team
  • e-Commerce and Affiliate background with the experience to negotiate long term contracts.
