Junior Digital Content Editor

Daniel Marks is very excited to be working on an amazing new opportunity looking for an exceptional Junior Digital Content Editor joining our client - a leading Travel company based in South East London.

Job Purpose

  • Work closely with Digital Content Editors, supporting content creation and upkeep.
  • Assist with QA on web pages, including proofing, cross-checking against templates and making amendments to products or modules within the Sitecore CMS - this may include reviewing and stripping tags from XML code (basic level only - no coding required).
  • Assisting with the delivery of seasonal product launches and supporting material
  • Assist in team helpdesk admin duties to ensure the smooth running of the business on a daily basis.
  • Support the Digital Content Editors and Digital Delivery and Operations Manager in building landing pages for regional campaigns, content creation, bug fixes, and maintenance.
  • Administer Agent support enquiries, including liaison with external & regional teams to ensure prompt resolution to issues.
  • Proactive communication and contribute to the building of relationships with regional and global stakeholders and partners.

Daily Objectives

  • Using the Freshdesk Helpdesk software to diagnose, solve and communicate with customers on support issues, maintaining a positive and helpful attitude at all times.
  • Using SiteCore CMS to create, amend or remove web content or pages from one of the 8 regional websites and Trade sites - this may occasionally include editing basic HTML/CSS code.
  • Liaising with IT regional teams to troubleshoot Agent login issues, including resetting of passwords, setting up accounts and other account administration.
  • Formatting, cropping, renaming, tagging and uploading images into the CMS Media Library
  • Proofreading copy, either online within web pages or in offline documents to ensure quality and consistency of content.
  • Positively contributing to team meetings, brainstorming sessions or other interactive workshops.
