This role offers an experienced Digital Communications Specialist a new challenge in a progressive organisation.

The role

Since their inception over a decade ago, this public service company based in the West Midlands has become an integral organisation within the region and due to this this they are continuously developing. Recently, they've enjoyed a companywide revamp and as they embark on a new digital project they are looking for a hands on Digital Specialist who is able to ensure that customers enjoy a seamless digital journey and are able to find all information at the click of a mouse. Working closely with the Communications Manager and sitting within the wider communications team, your focus will be online and as you will be delivering digital services across a range of online platforms including mobile, email and social media, the role will be incredibly varied. On one day you could be developing the corporate website and customer portal, and on the next, you could be creating online content, and analysing online sites in order to develop successful digital marketing plans and strategies for the future. One thing is for sure though, you'll be working to increase online traffic and engagement on a daily basis!

What we're looking for

We're looking for someone who has gained strong experience in a marketing or communications capacity and has a true understanding of the digital landscape and how it can be used to support and develop the brand. They are looking for someone who has a natural creative flair and is well versed in the digital world, so you must have proven experience in planning and implementing online campaigns across the entire marketing mix and you must be able to set up and monitor online campaigns. Working knowledge of content management systems, MailChimp, Google Analytics, social media platforms and their monitoring systems would also be advantageous to the role.

What's on offer?

The role comes with a salary of up to £28,100 and 27 days annual leave, a variety of pension schemes to join, heath cash plans and child care vouchers.
