Head of Ecommerce


A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head of E-Commerce to join our client based in Worksop; our client is a market leading retailer and manufacturer within their space.
The successful candidate will report directly into the Chief Development Officer and will be responsible for the Marketing and Sales targets of the website.

*Full Time - 37.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday
*Salary - Negotiable dependant on experience

As the Head of E-Commerce you will need to understand that the primary objective of an online business is to be commercial.

You will have hands on experience and a detailed understanding of e-commerce, PPC and SEO. You will need to review historic and existing campaigns and compare them against current market trends to identify how traffic can be maximised and sales increased.

The successful candidate must have the technical knowledge and be happy to take a thorough hands on approach to scrutinise each campaign to ensure maximum return on investment.

The ideal candidate will have and be able to demonstrate:-

  • *Educated to a Degree Level or similar / have significant e-commerce experience
  • *Demonstrate experience of managing successful e-commerce campaigns/projects
  • *Possess a logical thought process
  • *Desirable - experience working for a home / garden furniture retailer or manufacturer
