You should certainly have a strong knowledge of marketing principles / practices and administration procedures, have excellent writing and numeracy skills, and be very computer literate and good with data. An aptitude and willingness to learn is key, as you will be learning to use new operational platforms and must become familiar with the company's products.
As a person, you should be self-motivated and entrepreneurial, flexible and punctual; a creative thinker with strong influencing and negotiating skills, and excellent problem analysis and solving skills. You will need to be able to work alone and as part of a team, often under pressure, with excellent attention to detail skills and levels of accuracy.
