This is a unique and career enhancing role with one of the most reputable and credible integrated agencies based in the heart of Manchester. The clients are predominantly business to business and cover different sectors as do their requirements - they require an inspirational, ideas-led creative who has a portfolio of work which demonstrates innovation for a range of clients in different market sectors, across all media.

The role

You'll bring big ideas, craft, leadership skills and diplomacy together to help build the creative team into the strongest it can be. You'll have plenty of scope and lots of rope. In essence, you will be the lead creative and guiding light on all projects, working very closely with the studio team to generate creative ideas and concepts for a range of integrated campaigns. A key part will be to participate with client meetings and presentations, and strategic sessions, as well as mentoring writers, art directors and designers to build their skills and confidence. As expected, a part of this role will be to guide and mentor an established creative team as well as playing a significant part in the development and direction of the department. You will be used to working closely with client services and digital teams to ensure a seamless transition of briefs and ensure they are as clear and inspirational as possible.

What we're looking for
This agency has changed beyond recognition over the last few years and is keen to hire a forward thinking creative who is moving up the ranks and can add value to their continuing success. It is very important that you have a fair few year's agency experience under your belt and have spent the last 2 -3 years in an agency based senior creative capacity. Your work must include design which values the use of white space and typography as well advertising which can hold the eye of the reader. Equally important is an ability work on briefs which are fully integrated and include digital for different audiences and different brands. It goes without saying that you will enjoy leading and inspiring a team and enjoy the challenge of influencing the creative output of the agency. Mentoring experience is important and it may suit someone who has occasionally deputised for a senior creative and is now looking to take on such a role permanently.
