Senior Brand & Content Marketing Manager - Legal
A leading international legal practice with a truly global presence has a vacancy for a Senior Manager Brand & Content Marketing, which is a new role reflecting the need to take a more coherent approach to content generation and dissemination, to provide a high quality, consistent and distinctive experience for clients and other audiences, in an increasingly crowded and competitive environment.
They will review existing content marketing activity and develop and implement standards and processes which improve editorial quality, efficiency of content development, and its effectiveness in building the brand and winning business. In particular, you'll pivot activity from a focus on documents to digital channels and to take a more comprehensive campaign approach.
The Senior Manager will be supported by the Brand and Corporate Communications Manager. You will work closely with colleagues and other producers of content to develop and implement a firm-wide content strategy, and undertake audience research to inform content strategy and channel mix. You will design and introduce processes to monitor and improve the quality of the website content online and on other channels, e.g. taking a strong editorial approach, adhering to the brand, and linking relevant content.
Working with the Communications, Marketing Technology and Business Development teams, you'll drive a comprehensive campaign planning approach to maximise effective use of content, developing processes to ensure the profile on all channels and in publications is up-to-date, take a leading role in the development of a new website and work with the Director of Marketing & Business Development and Global Head of Communications on the strategic direction of the brand and to ensure brand alignment across all marketing and communications activity whilst overseeing the work of the Brand and Corporate Communications Manager. You will provide strategic advice to other parts of the business on brand development and execution, lead a review of the use of imagery, and ensure there is an effective process for the brand evaluation and reporting process to produce measurements and reports for key markets, sectors and practices.
You will have expertise in content marketing concepts and their application to professional service marketing communication strategies, an excellent grasp of the full marketing communications mix, preferably within a professional services environment, excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, excellent editorial and strong writing skills, expertise in the application of digital marketing channels and global strategic branding, preferably for professional service organisations, and the ability to influence the global leadership to pursue brand enhancing activities.
