Our client is a specialist marketing and communications agency based in Birmingham and requires a Creative Director to lead their highly successful creative team to deliver high-quality output. They will develop their team to a point where they know what “good looks like” and its role in driving business creativity. The Creative Director will also manage the creativity of the agency where customers and competitors recognise them at top of the league for their skills. This is a board level role and the successful candidate will be influential in the direction this business takes, in sustaining market share and driving further growth. They will cover programs and campaigns as well as promotions in all types of categories from brand to trade.

The Creative Director will:

  • Be highly customer centric. They will understand their customers’ needs and wants inside out and use this information to make informed decisions on their communication and creative needs. They will act like partners more than service providers.
  • Due to the high scope of activity, they will require digital communication and below the line skills.
  • They will be highly creative and have extensive experience in a Senior Creative role.
  • Have experience of successful management, driving and motivating a team to success, working alongside the production team and manager.
  • Work alongside the client services team to deliver high-quality output through understanding the client briefs strengthening the agencies own and the client’s brand.
  • This person will be an excellent communicator and have the ability to present and sell concepts.
  • They will be enthusiastic, driven and ambitious. They will be inspirational, infectiously motivated and engaging, in turn having a high ability to bring people with them and influence.
