Head of Search

Austin Fraser are working with a Digital Marketing Agency based very close to central London.

They are going through a period of change and this Head of Search role will play a pivotal part in helping to implement that change and growth within the agency.

Our client is one of the UK's longest running performance marketing agencies, who's customer base extends from the world of retail to the rapidly growing technology sector.

There approach to paid search is target-driven, personalised and transparent, with a firm commitment to delivering on doing what they say.

Head of Paid Search responsibilities:

  • Responsible for developing and leading Performance Media operation (PPC, Paid Social & Display), and helping the agency to grow its revenues and profits in line with overall business growth objectives.
  • Providing strategic direction and leadership across all Performance Media client accounts to ensure that the strategies recommended and implemented are fully in line with latest best practice, agreed profitability / client yield / client growth targets.
  • Responsible for recruiting, training, managing, mentor-ship and resource allocation of the Biddable team.
  • Responsible for retaining profitable clients, whilst ensuring returns on marginal clients are increased to bring them to profitability.

Experience required:

  • University Degree (or international equivalent).
  • At least 6 years of experience within the paid search with experience of developing both PPC and SEO strategies for international brands.
  • A strong agency background.
  • Has already operated at the highest levels having been point of contact for agencies and publishers.
  • Clear understanding of best practice paid media.
  • Experience of people management, training and personal development.
