Web Designer

An exciting opportunity for a tip-top, mid-weight Web Designer working underneath a Creative Project Lead has become available at a super-duper IT company situated in a beautiful Grade II listed building near Reading. 

Join a lovely bunch on an adventure through a sensational period of sustained growth with many innovative and inspiring key projects beginning development. 

The ideal Web Designer candidate will have at least 2 years of nose-to-grindstone Web Design and Coding experience and be competent with coding HTML, CSS and a sprinkling of JS (although not essential). A good understanding of UI, UX and web best-practices are also key considerations as is design (although the position is weighted more on the coding side) so please have your portfolio/examples of work armed and at the ready!

Required knowledge and skills of the Web Designer

At least 2 years experience as a Web Designer

An excellent knowledge of coding HTML, CSS and preferably JS

A very good understanding of UI and UX 

A very good understanding of web best practices

A portfolio of previous design work
