As a member of the Brandbank Global Team, the Marketing and Communications Manager will conceive and orchestrate innovative marketing and communication programmes and initiatives that grow Nielsen Brandbank's market positioning, which focuses on the creation, enhancement, optimisation and distribution of best in class digital product master data and marketing content. The role presents a unique opportunity to shape and influence the Company's growth and innovation agenda, utilising your full range of functional skills.
This role has the opportunity to be home, Oxford, London or Norwich based, with travel to the Nielsen Brandbank Head Office in Norwich.
��� Works as the strategic Marcomms business partner to Nielsen Brandbank Global Managing Director, advising management team members and UK and overseas management teams on stakeholder engagement strategies enabling the power of omnichannel for manufacturers and retailers to improve shopper experience everywhere
��� Devises contemporary and innovative internal and external Marcomms programmes to drive forward Nielsen Brandbank and contribute to achievement of business objectives
��� Ensures timely and effective execution of global, regional and local marketing/communication programmes across all Nielsen Brandbank markets, working in close consultation and collaboration with Nielsen Marcomms teams.
��� Mobilizes and leads executive, functional and peer teams to promote, protect and defend Nielsen Brandbank reputation in global, regional or local crisis situations.
��� In close partnership with Nielsen Marcomms teams, owns the strategic, corporate and trade media agenda in market, maintaining active responsibility to drive Nielsen Brandbank thought leadership profile globally.
��� Leads and establishes collaborative networks to ensure regional consistency and best practice in marketing/communications exchange
��� Provides proactive leadership insights into forces shaping the world of FMCG/Retail eCommerce, Omnichannel, media/agency connection, social media, marketing and communications.
��� Builds external industry peer and association networks across eCommerce and FMCG industries to inform marketing/communication insight and stakeholder engagement recommendations
��� Manages functional individuals and third party vendors supporting Nielsen Brandbank
��� Holds budget responsibility and accountability for all Marcomms programmes, ensuring focussed deployment that generates high value business contribution
��� Demonstrates Company values in all aspects of work and ensures this is reflected among marketing/communication team members
��� Background and fluency in disruptive technology as we create Nielsen Brandbank innovative breakthroughs in optimisation and distribution of best in class digital product master data and marketing content;
��� Significant experience of working in a cross discipline communications and brand marketing role;
��� Proven experience of contemporary employee and client engagement projects and an accomplished media relations practitioner;
��� Culturally sensitive with experience of working across boundaries and with international responsibilities;
��� Outcomes focused with evidence of recruiting, leading, managing and inspiring teams and vendors to high performance;
��� Familiar with commercial, financial and operating models;
��� Experience of partnering with the leadership team as the subject matter expert
��� Experience of holding accountability for functional budgets
