Global PPC Specialist - The Role

The Global Growth Marketing team is a central marketing team helping markets run the best local digital campaigns. They are all about empowering their very smart local marketing teams, providing cutting edge reporting, powerful tools and channel best practice. An opportunity has arisen in the Global Growth Marketing team to assist the central paid search team in driving a best-in-class strategy for this channel. As the Global PPC specialist, you will help build the Paid Search strategy globally and ensure constant knowledge share between all the local markets. Working with analysts, you will ensure performances are in line with marketing and business objectives. You will support the Global PPC lead in defining best practices, processes and tools that should be used across the group by all agencies and teams.As the Paid Search evangelist within the organisation, you will work collaboratively with all Marketing teams and media agencies to promote excellence in your channel. Finally, test and learn is paramount at this thriving Ecommerce business and you will be supporting the analysts for testing best practices, helping teams set up robust testing frameworks and evaluating results.

Responsibilities

Best-in-class Strategy (support to local team):
Working with the Global PPC lead to develop the Paid Search strategy for the brand globally, clearly communicating with local markets to ensure adoption
Assisting with planning, organisation, development and timely delivery of PPC projects

Performance Analysis:
Addressing and escalating campaign performance issues to the Global PPC lead. Understanding which markets are behind or ahead of targets on a weekly basis.
Supporting Global Analyst and local teams with ad hoc analysis. Using a wide range of tools to compile and produce insightful recommendations from performance and benchmark in order to better understand trends and user behaviour. Ensuring context are added to insights based on trends and product itself.

Knowledge and Best Practices share:
Developing a strong understanding of the products, competition, industry vertical and objectives of each market
Working alongside the Global PPC lead to prepare materials for communicating latest trends, AdWords features, interesting tests and best practices to inspire local markets
Supporting local markets with rolling out latest AdWords innovation
Supporting internal knowledge share through training and coaching (Global PPC tools and PPC induction)
Ensuring your digital marketing industry knowledge is up to date (networking/researching/reading blogs and news sources)

Global PPC Specialist - Key Skills

Degree qualified in maths, ecommerce, digital marketing
Minimum 3 years experience of PPC management
Advanced Excel skills / Highly numerate with great business acumen
Fluency in one or more bid management tools (Adwords, Marin, DoubleClick, Kenshoo,…)
Analytical, with the ability to interpret, data and contextual information quickly - and distill the most important/relevant information for strategic roll out
GAP qualified
