A leading financial services organisation based in North Yorkshire

Due to significant growth, my client is looking for an ambitious Technical Digital Marketing Manager responsible for redesigning the corporate digital estate and experience to drive improved performance. To succeed in this role you need to have strong technical expertise, commercial acumen and personal drive to succeed.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all paid and earned channels, particularly PPC, SEO, and programmatic and also support the continued migration onto the Adobe Marketing Cloud
  • Technical lead on digital landscape across all paid and earned channels, particularly PPC, SEO, and programmatic
  • Creation and deployment of digital and content strategy across all audiences
  • Work with UK performance team and Global SEO Manager to develop and implement local SEO strategy
  • Work with UK content teams to optimise content creation and web copy
  • Develop and implement link building strategy
  • Manage local content agency
  • Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion and optimisation
  • Measure effectiveness of SEO activity and report back to stakeholders
  • Work with the wider business to design and build optimised templates
  • Work with the Development team to ensure SEO best practices are implemented
  • Develop and manage working relationships with external search agencies
  • Track, report, and analyse website analytics and PPC initiatives and campaigns to further guide digital marketing activity

Personal Profile

  • To succeed in this role you need to have strong technical expertise, commercial acumen and personal drive to succeed.
  • Experience with bid management tools (e.g., Click Equations, Marin, Kenshoo, Search Ignite)
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO and SEM
  • Proven SEM experience managing PPC campaigns across Google, Yahoo and Bing
  • Extensive, proven PPC / SEO experience
  • Solid understanding of performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition
  • In-depth experience with website analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends)
