The Role:

In coordination with the European Campaign & Content Manager, it is the responsibility of the Web Developer to help develop, maintain, prioritise and track incoming projects for the region.

Additionally, the Developer must also have excellent grasp of the best practices, technology and content management systems – helping the region understand what is feasible given resource and technology constraints while helping build and maintain relationships.

  • Coordinate content needs and projects
  • Assess current project flow; look for growth opportunities
  • Assist with other web related program development and operational needs
  • Build and develop relationships with all regional stakeholders
  • Support daily production initiatives for the Digital department
  • Manage ongoing changes and updates to IHG Websites using content management system, such as AEM.
  • Support Content Operations and increase existing knowledge of online production best practices within Digital (e.g., increasing overall Web traffic and user experience metrics, etc.)
  • Liaise with key business and technology teams (understanding our business and marketing goals) to ensure stylized, integrated, and aligned solutions are created.

You will have experience in content development or a related role that will assist in daily job functionality and you must be proficient with Content Management Systems (eg: Adobe).

The ideal candidate will have experience providing creative and organisational support to keep everything running smoothly. A team-oriented work ethic and an ability to work collaboratively within a matrix-style infrastructure will be expected in the role.

Candidates for this position should be a multi-tasker, someone who is able to have a clear understanding of the end customer's needs and can help manage the processes that help deliver web content on a day-to-day basis to the region.

As you will be working closely with a variety of key stakeholders across the business, excellent communication, adaptability and influencing skills are essential to the role. Experience working in a customer support role with multiple stakeholders will be extremely beneficial.
