This pure-play fashion retailer has experienced phenomenal growth and is the true essence of a challenger brand. After branching out from wholesale to B2C ecommerce, this business has gone from strength to strength, quickly becoming the market-leading offering in this sector.

Having taken on recent investment our client is now looking to recruit a variety of senior management roles, as it looks to further maximise the opportunities market conditions present. Based out of its headquarters in the North West, one of the key strategic hires will be a Marketing Director. This role will be responsible for executing and developing their exciting Brand oriented Marketing strategy. Reporting into the CEO, the head of Marketing will take their mission, vision and values, together with a well-developed marketing strategy and bring it to life both internally and externally in all channels. The role will involve leading their Marketing team while collaborating with senior stakeholders across the business to deliver commercial goals.

To be successful in this role, the Marketing Director will be passionate about making the brand message "come alive" and will embody the brand values and be committed, caring, progressive, trusted, exceptional and fun. The culture is fast paced and relentless and requires characters that embrace change and love to deliver results.

Key Responsibilities:
* Execution, development and consistency of company's marketing & brand strategy and message. Achievement of commercial goals and ROI by operating a strong, targeted and well measured funnel strategy to exceed budgeted results within budget.
* Leading and developing the Marketing Team.
* Effective and cost effective use of agency, managing internal vs external bias with a view to maximising internal operation and value.
* Campaign, event, content marketing, social and PR management across all channels.
* Strong alignment and involvement with the product strategy to drive conversion to sale and manage collections and launches in a fashion industry pattern.
* Internal and external communication of the brand strategy including values and beliefs.
* Undertake continuous analysis of the competitive environment and consumer trends.

Ideal candidate profile
* Will be very consumer and customer focused, comfortable with developing and implementing a successful brand-led marketing strategy to support wholesale and international distribution opportunities and able to build a brand equity to increase revenues and profitability.
* A clear strategy leader with proven experience of P&L, Brand & range management.
* An accomplished team lead, with experience of managing respected marketing professionals.
* A strong understanding of digital channels and modern e-commerce
* Belief and understanding of brand strategy and messaging construction.
* Extensive demonstrable experience of leading a Marketing function, ideally but not restricted to in a SME.
* Demonstrable track record of delivering a Marketing & Brand strategy an orientation towards fast paced delivery and driving results.
* Leading edge experience and understanding of content marketing strategy and channels including hub, digital, social and PR.
* Strong skills in the use and construction of brand messaging to drive demand.
* Ability to operate both strategically and operationally in a fast paced dynamic environment to drive results.
* Experience in a Retail or fashion environment, ideal but not essential

£75,000 - £85,000
