Senior Front-End Developer needed to join one of the south-west’s most exciting teams at their super-cool Bristol offices working on a unique product with already 1m+ users worldwide. They always want to be at the forefront of their industry and are really excited by new ideas and new tech; they are currently moving towards Angular2 and working with some unusual, but brilliant technologies.  It’s been success after success and there’s no chance that will be changing any time soon, making it an amazing business to join. There’s a real emphasis on control over your own work and time and they believe in helping developers grow and strengthen themselves professionally in a friendly and collaborative environment.

What experience you'll need

We’re looking for an experience Senior Front-End Developer with a background in developing UI for web and mobile with strong HTML, CSS, JavaScript (at least one library - they work with Angular moving towards Angular2) as well as ideally some of GIT, Wordpress, TDD, Bootstrap and Gradle.  It would be great if you had some interest in UX/design although don’t worry they’re not looking for you to create a brand!  You’ll play a key role in the overall success of the business and your views on tech, quality and usability will be encouraged and you’ll have the autonomy to experiment and make a real difference.  They have a small but hugely talented tech team (currently 3) and are after someone sociable, flexible and full of ideas.

What you'll be doing

You’ll be working within a small team in a fast-paced, agile, down-to-earth, entrepreneurial environment developing and implementing solutions in line with business needs.  You’ll be coming on board to build amazing user intefaces using your great eye for design, devising and delivering features that make user’s lives better.  You’ll be able to use your passion for creating clean and modern interfaces and be regularly articulating new ideas, improvements and solutions to problems. You’ll have a real care for detail and that will be evident from the tiniest day-to-day tasks right up to considering the overall brand’s direction. Over time as the business grows there'll be great opportunities to lead projects and mentor/coach others but for now, it's all about the technical challenge and working on an extremely exciting product.

What you'll get in return for you talents

A highly competitive salary depending upon experience (£35-50K depending upon experience), within a really smart, friendly and informal team of passionate people.  You’ll never be bored - just engaged, excited and fully challenged improving your skills and making something awesome. You have management of your own time and work. Core hours are 10-4 but there will be flexibility where needed and the possibility of occasional home-working, 5% matched pension, regular trips/socials and more. One of the most appealing factors in working for this business is that they seek to help parents and improve children’s lives and you’ll be able to go into work each day knowing you’re doing something positive for society.

If you’d like to be a part of something very very special then here is your chance, send in your CV NOW to Jack for immediate consideration.
