My client are an up-and-coming IT company expanding their presence in both the UK and International markets and winning awards for their fresh and innovative approach. Targeting a high-demand area of the market, their products offer industry-leading solutions to their partners and as such they are looking to recruit the job of Website Development Executive to join the UK team.

Your new role
Working within the Technical Operations and Marketing teams you will be responsible for designing, coding and supporting my client's portfolio of websites - from layout to functionality all according to the needs of the business. You will also take ownership of integration processes between the websites and other business platforms, such as CRM systems, to ensure continuous operation of form validation, etc. You will be passionate about creating visually appealing sites that feature user-friendly design and clear navigation as well as making sure that things behind the scenes run consistently and efficiently.

This job is a mixture of a traditional Digital Marketing or Online Marketing Executive role with strong website development skills: you will be utilising HTML/Google Analytics/CMS'/ CRM systems and will use technical knowledge around programming and development. This job would suit a creative but technically minded digital professional.

What you'll need to succeed
In this job you will be required to proactively gather complex or partially incomplete information, interpret it and then translate it clearly into a well-structured, functional web experience. Therefore you will need to take pride in accuracy when collating information and representing in on the web and utilise your experience with writing SEO-friendly HTML to optimise content.
You will need experience using web CMS', particularly Worpress; a willingness to learn modern frameworks; strong Google Analytics skills; experience with writing code to facilitate form validation; an awareness of PHP; strong javascript skills including experience with ajax and jquery; experience with GitHub (or similar version control systems) and preferably gitflow workflows; and experience with site search functionality.

What you'll get in return

You will receive a salary of between £25,000 - £28,000, depending on experience, and the opportunity to join a fast-paced and growing business in a hands-on and business-critical role and will see direct impact of your work from the outset.
