Reporting in to the E-commerce Manager, the Merchandising Executive is responsible for the day to day management of the merchandising on all crystal ski websites across both the UK and Ireland (for example crystalski.co.uk). You will have a passion and drive for marketing and excel in working as part of a greater team and will work with the wider TUI merchandising team to ensure the Lakes & Mountains pages are suitably merchandised on the tui.co.uk website.
Customers are more aware of the availability of choice at their fingertips so serving the right message at the right time becomes more important than ever. They expect a personalised journey from marketing communications right through to the customer experience on the websites and therefore you will also assist with conversion optimisation tests to try and improve our online experience.
What you will be doing
As a Merchandising Executive you will be responsible for the scope, delivery and reporting of merchandising placements on the websites and to assist with the production of online tests. You will need to balance the commercial and marketing teams’ requirements, whilst ensuring the customer journey is front of mind.
More specifically as a Merchandising Executive you will:
Work closely with the Commercial & Marketing teams to update tactical offers and ensure landing pages are optimally merchandised across all relevant channels.
Keep all homepage content and landing pages up to date and in-line with commercial priorities (includes ski/summer, direct/agent, UK & IE sites).
Working with other teams devise personalised content where possible to deliver a holistic customer journey through all touch points.
Work with the digital product team on the design, implementation and analysis of AB tests that will aim to increase conversion.
Support the Digital Web Analyst to develop reporting for activities, report on insights and adapt where necessary.
Work with joint marketing team to monetise our owned inventory and optimise opportunities to gain the optimal performance by partner.
Report regularly on performance of Joint Marketing campaigns and merchandising content onsite.
Support the Conversion Specialist to manage and optimise the website including functionality and content (balance customer needs against conversion rates and margin).
