Digital Performance and Insights Director

We’re looking for a data ‘whiz-kid’, with a solid background in Digital Marketing and Media, to join an awesome, ‘family-feel’, creative agency in the West Midlands.  So, if that sounds like you, read on!

Our Client

Due to continued growth and further digital wins, we are working with one of the most friendly and collaborative agencies in the West Midlands, to source a data-savvy Digital Director!

Based in a stunning barn conversion, where you’ll truly feel at home, our client is a fully integrated agency, offering everything from Creative and Branding, Social and PR, to Digital and Insights.

The Role

Joining the Digital and Insights team, this role will work alongside an established team of Account Managers, Account Execs, Developers and Media Partners. Working alongside inhouse specialists, we’re looking for someone who, first and foremost is a self-confessed ‘data nerd’.

The key focus of this role will be compiling and analysing digital data to provide insights, recommendations and solutions, in order to improve multi-channel marketing activity.

In addition, we are looking for Digital specialists who can oversee the delivery of digital performance channels (PPC, SEO, Digital Display and Social) and who have a solid understanding of UX and UI.

This is a well-rounded Digital Director role, and we’re looking for someone who can really bring their strengths to the forefront. To a certain degree the role can be moulded to the right candidate - we don’t expect ‘the moon on a stick’ – so, if you are a data ‘nerd’ and can manipulate and utilise in-depth digital data, but don’t quite have the in-depth knowledge of PPC, don’t be shy about applying!

It goes without saying that there are some key tools and credentials that we’ll need you to have, so if you have all, or most of the below then we’d love to hear from you:

  • Advanced Excel (pivot and advanced formulas, macros, VBA or SQL – there will be an Excel test as part of the application process, so this really is key!)
  • Google Analytics
  • Google AdWords web and editor (including Google Shopping and Display Network)
  • Google Tag Manager
  • Google Search Console
  • Google Sheets
  • Twitter Ads
  • Double Click Studio
  • Double Click Campaign Manager

About You

With such a unique, fun, friendly and collaborative culture (with staff that have been in the agency for 15 years or more) we’re looking for a like-minded person who will thrive in this busy but rewarding agency environment.  While previous agency experience isn’t essential, you’ll need to understand the structure and workings of an agency and be prepared to work on multiple accounts. Agency life can be super-fast paced, but massively rewarding – working on some big household name brands.

We need ‘doers’ who are equally as happy rolling their sleeves up and getting hands-on as they are planning strategies and liaising with clients. You’ll be involved in client pitches and will have responsibility for some talented Digital Account Managers and PPC specialists.
