Web Content Executive

London based University who has recently undergone research of the organisation's website to improve usability.
Your new role
As Web Content Executive you will work with the Marketing Manager to deliver the redesign of the website through the launch of a new CMS, so there will be migration of content. You will lead ongoing evaluation of site's performance using Google analytics. You will be providing updates on what can be improved and making recommendations on the solution. As well as the back end work, you will be the lead on the production of the departments content, curating and editing it. A lot of this role is advising key stakeholders on best practice.
What you'll need to succeed
This is a content heavy role, so the successful candidate will have strong editorial skills and the ability to create content that is both accessible, usable and optimised to search engines. You must have the ability to act independently and make decisions without supervision as well as being confident in your own judgement when advising senior stakeholders. The organisation has a wide range of content that it produces so having a breadth of experience will benefit you application, particularly video content.
