Digital Communications Coordinator
Brand new role to deliver digital communications to this vibrant Birmingham membership organisation linked to the education sector.
Working within a marketing department of 7, it will be your responsibility to develop digital communications campaigns and activities across a range of digital platforms to increase engagement with their members. You will coordinate the delivery of professionally produced, interactive, innovative and engaging media content (including video and photography) for use across key digital campaigns, also taking responsibility for the analysis of those activities such as Conversation Rate Optimisation, SEO, e-marketing and social media. You'll increase social media engagement, working with the Communications Manager to identify the most relevant subjects and topics to the student population. Additionally, you'll help out with events providing outreach and engagement activity and support the Marketing team.
What we're looking for
To be considered for the role we're looking for candidates who can demonstrate strong evidence of digital communications (not just social media) within a commercial environment ideally with a marketing or communications qualification. You must have experience of coordinating effective communications activity and of targeting and segmenting messages, as well as developing digital content (including paid advertising). Video editing skills would be a really useful additional skill to have, but it's not essential. You'll have experience of content management systems and email delivery software such as MailChimp.
What's on offer?
This really offers a unique working environment with an established team on the outskirts of Birmingham. Location is very accessible via public transport and there is free parking on site. Additionally, there is a very generous holiday allowance, a great social aspect and the opportunity to progress within the role.
