Communications Support Officer

Your new role
You will be part of a team that manages all internal and external communications for a national charity, you will use a variety of channels to engage the wide range of audiences. You will be there to support the team in the effective delivery across the communications team and will act as the first point of call for all communications inquiries. You will be in charge of the communications inbox and lead of scheduling content across all social as well as creating content for the e-newsletter.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will have a minimum of a year's experience within general communications, ideally from a not for profit (not essential). This experience could be from a year's internship of a year in industry. A large aspect of this role is content writing so the successful candidate will have good written and spoken communications and an understanding of how to maximise understanding and impact. Being organised and a team player is essential for this role. This role is great for someone looking to develop their communications experience, maybe someone who has recently graduated.
