Are you a talented content strategist, full of ideas and experienced in producing best-in-class creative for multiple channels? Are you looking to use your skills to make a difference? If so, we’d love to hear from you.

At ActionAid, we work with women and girls living in poverty, and we’re looking for a creative, innovative content specialist to help raise our brand profile and deepen engagement with our supporters.

Sitting within the Brand and Creative Content Team, ActionAid’s in-house creative agency, the successful applicant will lead the planning and delivery of multi-channel content that will help ActionAid attract and engage new audiences.

As well as working closely with other team members (including a designer, video producer, writer/editor and production manager), you will be working with fundraising and campaigning colleagues across the whole organisation to help ensure our content is on brand and high quality.

A typical day could involve anything from leading a creative ideas sharing session, to setting up a paid social campaign, storyboarding a new film idea or writing optimised content for our website.

You will have a wealth of knowledge on trends, technologies and best practise in digital content production. You must have experience of creating integrated multi-channel content packages, coupled with a deep understanding of user-centred design.

As well as being well-versed in understanding how users interact with digital channels, you will have a creative mindset and be a strong team player, happy to roll up your sleeves and support the rest of the creative team – as well as line managing the Writer/Editor. You will have well-developed interpersonal skills and a demonstrable ability to manage your time and projects.
