Our client, a well established Education Services Specialist in Nottinghamshire, has a fantastic opportunity for a Social Media Manager to join their team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall strategy and implementation of all social media campaigns for the company.

Working alongside the in-house Videographers, Instructional Designers and Web Developer, you will help organise all social media marketing activities, plan the social media strategy and maximise the return for all social media marketing spend.

You will manage and grow the company’s social media presence through blogs, Twitter, Facebook and other strategically relevant online properties and identify suitable influencers. You will also assist with email marketing and communications and write and distribute press releases where required.

Key responsibilities:

Oversee the social media strategy to ensure it aligns with the company’s brands.

Engage with customers through the use of social media.

Keep up to date with advances in social media technology and the latest social media platforms.

Maximise followers on social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Google plus and Pinterest.

Ensure that approaches to social media are relevant and appropriate for each medium.

Monitor social media for customer comments both positive and negative.

Build reporting frameworks to evaluate return on investment on the various platforms.

Engage with customers to resolve customer service issues and create positive PR opportunities.

Continuous research into new relevant social media channels and their impact on the brands marketing.

Work with the marketing/creative team to look at ways social media can work within wider campaigns.

Analyse social media insights to guide future social media campaigns.

Develop a content calendar across all platforms to ensure a constant supply of relevant content.

Hold workshops for relevant staff to explain the importance of social media and how their contribution can impact campaigns.

Key Requirements:

Degree educated.

Proven extensive experience in a social media role.

Strong understanding of content management systems.

Excellent understanding of digital marketing, search engine optimisation and how social media impacts this.

Articulate and professional communication skills.

Passionate and results driven team player.

Knowledge of Google Analytics & AdWords and familiarity with Google updates, retargeting and Google display network.
