Following a succession of high profile client wins, this truly respected agency are looking for a Social Media Manager to join their multi-award winning consumer team. Working alongside the Account Managers at Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn and Google, the Social Media Manager will have responsibility for the smooth running of clients' social media channels on a day to day level. You'll oversee a team of Consumer Social Media Executives who service the full roster of clients. As the 'go to' person for the team, you will be responsible for making sure that client reporting is taking place, expectations are met and owned channels are looked after. You'll be tasked with creating interesting and sharable content that will benefit the client, by identifying news hooks and relevant stories, devising paid media strategies and supporting the team in researching, writing and producing compelling and effective digital content.
What we're looking for
We're looking for an experienced social media professional who is comfortable working at managerial level. As well as an obsession with social media, it's vital that you have experience working at senior level by supporting new business pitches, providing insight to internal teams for new campaigns, evaluating online success of campaigns and reporting on ROI. This will involve some face to face meetings with clients as well as providing valuable contributions to meetings with internal senior management, so you must be comfortable working in a stakeholder facing role. Ideally, you hold a relevant degree and have three or more years' experience in digital marketing.
