What’s The Team Structure?

This role reports directly to our Chief Commercial Officer and is one of 4 planned heads (Brand, Acquisition, Trading & Retention) within the team. This individual will be our “Virtual Shop Keeper” and will oversee 3 direct reports (developing markets, key markets & analyst), yet to be hired.

If the numbers are down, you’ll take ownership and direct change to deliver our objectives. You’ll be a good leader, who has experience building and managing teams that deliver exceptional results and drives motivation amongst those around them.

Your previous Experience

  • 5+ years within eCommerce, running the commercial, trading or retail activities

  • Track record of managing high potential commercial teams that deliver exceptional results

Role & Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and execute the day-to-day trading plans with creative and innovative campaigns that the wider commercial team attract new customers and retain our current ones.

  • Own these Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Visitor to Customer Conversion Rate, Sales Value, Average Basket Size / Value, Sales out Profit Margin

  • Contribute / Assist with these KPIs: Customer Satisfaction / Review, Gross Profit Margin, Cost Per Acquisition, Life Time Value

  • Understand where our target customers are, what they want and how Pure Scooters build on-going, sustainable competitive advantages.

  • Increase basket size and value through upselling and conversion rate optimisation.

  • Obsess about increasing value to consumers without the need to use discounting or price reductions.

  • Report as required on performance against your team’s target KPIs

  • Close collaboration with product, commercial, operation and support teams on a daily basis.

  • Build and motivate a world-class team that delivers excellence

  • Stay up to date with the changes in the eCommerce industry and maintain best practices

Key Skills Required

  • Leading edge understanding of digital retail / ecommerce; a ‘natural shop keeper’; fixated on delivering your promise to the customer.

  • Advanced knowledge/experience with Analytical / CRO tools like Google Analytics, HotJar etc

  • Good knowledge of Shopify+ and common 3rd party applications (Nosto, etc)
