Our client has an opportunity available for a SEO Executive to join them based at their offices in Newbury. You will join them on full time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £21,000 - £25,000 per annum depending on experience plus excellent benefits.

About the role:

As the SEO Executive, you will be supporting the senior search staff and will be tasked with writing meta data, conducting keyword research, analysing content and writing reports. In addition to this you will be a key member of the search team and be able to offer SEO advice and recommendations to account managers and decision makers.

Key duties and responsibilities of the SEO Executive:

- Identifying keywords and opportunities to drive the organic traffic and growth

- Working with the content teams to create and develop SEO friendly content

- Writing effective SEO content for blogs and websites as required

- Reviewing and analysing client sites for areas that can be improved and optimized

- Communicating changes to account managers and why they will benefit the client

- Implementing recommendations and analysing their impact on site performance

- Identify ways to increase goals & conversions on client websites

- Monitor, measure and report on impact

- Grow client’s backlink profile with strong positive links

- Monitor and assess backlinks that may harm a client’s site and take action to fix

Skills and experience required to be their SEO Executive:


- Directly worked in a role where SEO was the focus for 1 – 2 years

- Keeping updated on both white hat and black hat SEO strategies to avoid stay within search engine guidelines

- Effective SEO content for blogs and websites as required

- Developing and implementing link building strategies

- Analysing keywords and SEO strategy effectiveness

- Prior experience in Organic Search including technical and on page SEO and Outreach

- Working knowledge of search engine optimization practices

- Some Google Analytics Knowledge

- Strong communication skills

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

- Collaborative attitude and able to work within a team

- Ability to think creatively, strategically, identify and resolve problems


- Basics of Conversion rate optimisation

- Exposure of understanding client needs and interpreting a brief

- Basic HTML and understanding web technology

- Agency environment or part of a marketing team

- A levels or equivalent i.e. IDM or CIM
