Social Media Manager
We're searching for a Social Media Manager to join a first-class creative agency in the heart of Birmingham. They have grown organically and sensibly over the past few years and have built an enviable reputation for staff retention and development.
On a daily basis, as Social Media Manager, you'll work on a diverse and interesting mix of B2B and consumer accounts, that includes everything from food and leisure, to charities and professional services. You'll be liaising with clients, effectively handling and evaluating their accounts, implementing campaigns which will build their business and online profile, and will always be on hand to react, advise, and assist in the development of their business strategies. Additionally, you'll be creating and heading paid for and organic campaigns, and delivering positive results will be the norm for you, and your work will go towards helping clients achieve their business goals. You will have the support from the PR and digital team with the genuine opportunity to grow your own social team.
You will need to be someone who enjoys being part of an agency and are able to contribute towards the good moral and team spirit of the agency, and its vital that you participate in internal and external meetings - these could be to show the team a project you're really proud of, or contribute towards new business pitches.
What we're looking for
It goes without saying that we're looking for an experienced Social Media Manager, but this could range from someone who has been recently promoted into a manager position, to a fully-fledged and experienced Manager! It's essential that you have experience working on a variety of B2B and consumer accounts and have experience of paid for searches as well as the ability to translate and convey campaign results. Agency experience is also a prerequisite.
