Your new role
You will be reporting into the Managing Director and will be tasked with bringing the Marketing activities of the organisation in-house and manage a £900,000 annual marketing budget. You will be taking a multi-channel approach to the Marketing strategy, bringing under your direction DM, Collateral and print production, Social Channels, Email Marketing, POS, SMS and content production. You will analyse data and offer actionable insight from this through the analysis of trends. This insight will be used to drive forward both online and offline Marketing campaigns. As the organisation is in a state of growth, over the coming months you will be expected to build the Marketing team there so any experience of building and recruiting new teams would be advantageous. The role will be project led and the projects will incorporate the full Marketing mix therefore being fully conversant in this is essential. Having an understanding of digital channels such as SEO and PPC is also essential as you will be required to manage external agencies and influence their campaigns. You will also be required to pitch new ideas and new routes to Market in order to increase ROI and the channels used.
What you will need to succeed
Experience within food and drink would be advantageous although experience within B2C marketing experience wouldn't be ruled out. You will have a "can do" attitude whilst being very organised and meticulous. You will be creative and be an ideas person and may possess a professional qualification within Marketing. You will also be comfortable interpreting data and offering actionable insight and then using this to drive successful Marketing campaigns. You will be happy working autonomously and as part of a team, offering direction to your team whilst managing employees at all levels of seniority.
