We're searching for a wordsmith, someone who can create compelling stories across all forms, and someone who goes above and beyond. Could it be you?

The role

Just a stone's throw from Nottingham city centre, this software and IT company is looking to make its next hire in the form of a Copywriter. During their 25 year history, they've built a solid reputation in the industry and have built a close-knit, welcoming team who all love what they do, where they work, and pushes the brand to its limits! As Copywriter, you'll be joining this team which is filled with creatives, marketers, strategists, and analysts and will take on the task of creating compelling copy which excites and engages their audiences. As soon as you join, you'll be working on challenging creative briefs, and will be responsible for telling a tale across a number of projects from that cross online and offline, from web pages and banners to articles, e-shots, flyers and even pieces for exhibitions and events. The copy you create must go hand in hand with the designs the creative team come up with, so you'll be working closely with them and together will be brainstorming concepts before presenting them to stakeholders.

What we're looking for

Of course, you'll need a natural aptitude for copy creation, an incredible grasp of the English language, and the ability to tailor the copy you create for different audiences. In terms of length of experience, ideally we are looking for someone with around 3-5 years, and although not essential, it would be fantastic if your experience had been gained in the IT / tech sector. Naturally, you'll be one of those that uses the left-hand side of the brain - the creative, able to come up with mind-bending concepts that push boundaries, but you'll also need to be commercially aware and able to reach all types of audiences. As a person, they're looking for someone who has a thirst for knowledge, wants to learn about the company and collaborate with the team. You'll also need to be a stickler for detail - able to create content that's grammatically correct and an A* proofreader who can spot a rogue comma, full stop, or apostrophe from a mile away (please don't judge our advert too harshly!). And of course, you'll need to be flexible in your approach; able to work on your own, as part of a team, juggle projects, and generally get stuck in!
