Web Analyst /Digital Marketing – Southend on Sea, Essex – £27K - £35K+

Who will I work for? An established digital consultancy who enable businesses to gain maximum commercial value from their online website traffic. Fantastic central Southend location – easy access to shops, eateries and several local gyms (and the beach!)

Salary: £27-35K+

What’s the Opportunity? Together with the rest of the digital marketing team and the Director you’ll be managing web analysis projects for SME clients across diverse sectors. Day to day work will involve liaising with Google Analytics users, managing Google Tag Manager Containers and communicating by email and phone with clients locally and from around the world, identifying their needs and delivering on their objectives. You will also be providing accurate data reporting for business users, undertaking admin tasks for key clients (including adding content and updates to their websites and other ad hoc requests) plus a little internal digital marketing as appropriate. This company will help and encourage you to stay up to date with the latest trends in web analytics and business, which might include attending seminars and will involve staying close to best practises, consumer experience research and new technologies.  Key to your success will be a willingness to get stuck in to all projects and tasks across the business – immersing yourself in how a digital consultancy works efficiently and importantly enjoying what you do! The management team is extremely supportive, the Director brings many years of experience to share and mentor you. 

What skills will I need to bring?

  • Ideally a couple of years’ experience within digital/web analytics from a consultancy, agency or client-side environment
  • Hands on exposure to Google Analytics, Google Ads (Google Adwords), Google Tag Manager
  • Working exposure of Excel and generally able to think and work analytically
  • Good writing abilities
  • Passionate about digital
  • Proactive and full of ideas!
