This is an opening for a Marketing Executive to join an innovative and serially successful £multi-million turnover SME who are pioneers in the fields of hiring and tech based solutions to clients across the globe - in both private and public sectors.
This is a truly creative and semi-analytical marketing role where you will be given real responsibility for a range of marketing campaigns, both online and offline, that support their commercial objectives. You will work very closely with their sales teams, supporting them on delivering effective business-wide marketing campaigns, across all assets. On the creative side, you will be tasked with planning and executing their social campaigns from short punchy headlines on channels such as LinkedIn and Twitter, to highly innovative videos that create engagement. You will ensure their online presence is optimised and ties in with the wider sales strategy, as well as supporting the sales team with the production of creative presentations. You will produce informative and engaging content that can be used across social channels to support platform growth and ensure their brand identity and consistency is reflected effectively at all times. You will also oversee the design and production of all marketing literature, will organise and attend events on the companies behalf, and produce support promotional literature. The analytical aspect will involve developing their CRM system, looking for improvements in terms of segmentation and cleansing. You will be tasked with building informative and engaging emails that will improve traction and leads. This will be the end-to-end development of emails from planning to execution as well as analysis. You will also use Google Analytics to assist with web performance and future development. Please bear in mind, this is an established business and their present CRM system and marketing is effective - it simply needs continual improvement.
What we're looking for
Above all else, you'll want to thrive in a true 360 marketing role and enjoy delivering innovative marketing campaigns; online and offline, from concept to execution. It is preferable that your marketing expertise has been honed in a B2B environment (recruitment or tech would be handy) but more important is having a track record of increasing brand awareness that has a positive impact on sales. You'll also need to know your way around CRM systems, reporting platforms such as Google Analytics and WordPress, and will need to be capable of creating emails, marketing literature, and content that invokes reactions, as well as being able to harness engagement across all social channels. We envisage that you've probably gained at least 2 years' in a similar role, preferably in-house, and will be looking to push on and develop your marketing career. This may suit a recent graduate who has 12 months under their belt in an all-encompassing marketing role, and certainly has a strong knowledge of marketing principles / practices, has excellent writing and numeracy skills, and is handy with data. As a person, attitude is key, you should be personable, grounded and disciplined, and want ownership of a role but, most of all, a creative thinker and savvy marketer.
