Senior Marketing Executive / Marketing Manager
This is an opening to join an innovative and serially successful £multi-million turnover SME who are pioneers in the fields of hiring and tech based solutions to clients across the globe - in both private and public sectors.
This is a truly creative and semi-analytical marketing role where you will be given real responsibility for a range of marketing campaigns, both online and offline, to support their commercial objectives. You will work very closely with the sales teams, supporting them on delivering effective business-wide marketing campaigns across all assets.
On the creative side, you will be tasked with planning and executing their social campaigns from short punchy headlines on channels such as LinkedIn and Twitter to highly innovative videos that create engagement. You will ensure their online presence is optimised and tied into with the wider sales strategy as well as supporting the sales team with the production of creative presentations. You will produce informative and engaging content that can be used across social channels to support platform growth and ensure their brand identity and consistency is reflected effectively at all times. You will also oversee the design and production of all marketing literature and organise and attend events on the companies behalf & produce support promotional literature.
The analytical aspect will involve developing their CRM system, looking for improvements in terms of segmentation and cleansing. You will be tasked with building informative and engaging emails that will improve traction and leads. This will be the end-to-end development of emails from planning to execution as well as analysing campaign performance. You will also use Google Analytics to assist with web performance. Please bear in mind, this is an established business and their present CRM system is effective - it simply needs continual improvement.
What we're looking for
Above all else, you'll thrive in a true 360 marketing role, enjoy getting stuck in, and delivering innovative marketing campaigns; online and offline, from concept to execution. It is preferable that your marketing expertise has been honed in a B2B environment (recruitment or hiring solutions would be very handy) but more important is having a track record of increasing brand awareness that has a positive impact on sales. You'll also need to know your way around CRM systems, reporting platforms such as Google Analytics, WordPress and be capable of creating emails and content to invoke reaction as well as being able to harness engagement across all social channels. We envisage that gained at least 3 - 4 years' in a similar role, preferably in-house, and will be looking to push on and take hold of a marketing function. It may suit someone in a larger setting who'd prefer more responsibility and the chance to build on a marketing platform which is already working but needs continual improvement. It goes without saying that you will have sound knowledge of modern marketing principles / practices, both online & offline and be a dab hand with data and curating effective social messages. As a person, you should be personable, grounded & disciplined and want ownership of a role but, most of all, a creative thinker!
