Our client is a leader in Digital Content Management, working with a plethora of Digital Platforms in the Music, Film and TV Industries. They support leading content owners and digital distributors. Their services enable customers to monetize their content, from TVOD/EST to SVOD to AVOD. They work across global territories and on every consumer platform and are looking to grow further and develop across new digital platforms (DSP’s). Their strategic guidance is designed to optimize the content offering, enhance brands, and establish new revenue streams for their customers.

A US business, with a growing UK office and European client presence based in London. They are looking to hire an experienced Sales Director to join at a pivotal time in the companies existence, with a new system being released this year. You will grow a team in the UK through proven success and bring experience from a Digital Distribution background. You will come with relationships and proven sales experience from working with Digital Content Platforms in the UK and across Europe, Middle East and Africa to aid the next stage in the company’s development. This role reports to the Head of Sales in the USA, the UK Managing Director and works alongside the Commercial Director and will be responsible for identifying new platforms and revenue streams for the business.

This role will develop the company’s sales strategy, across the UK and Europe, identify new sales opportunities and develop and grow existing relationships with DSP’s and Content Distributers. It will have an in depth understanding of digital services, rates, policies, procedures and present confidently to clients. This role will undertake travel to clients in Europe and the UK in order strengthen relationships and generate business, whilst attending relevant industry events to raise the profile of the business, widen market knowledge and spot trends and opportunities. You will manage the contract drafting process, negotiate sales and follow through to execution and post-sale.

You are a seasoned Sales Director with years of experience in the TV/Music/Digital Media Sector with experience of selling Digital Solutions and Services. You have a strong client contact network within the broadcast and Digital Platform field, with experience of selling in to Media/Entertainment industries with large platform entities across the EMEA territories. You are well respected within your field with the ability to network at all levels. You have experience in managing  large contracts or RFP bids, with experience of managing others and growing a sales function with multi-million pound sales budgets. You have experience of implementing and managing key sales reporting and metrics and have a strong technical understanding of OTT, SVOD, AVOD and TVOD content distribution. This role requires a strategic thinker, with strong leadership skills who is able to communicate effectively at all levels and develop relationships at the most senior level.
