A fantastic opportunity for a passionate and analytical Digital Marketeer, to work as a dedicated Paid Media Specialist, within a global organisation. This role will suit either someone mid-way through their career and wanting an opportunity to enhance their experience, or an established Paid Media Manager, who would enjoy a year working on a new brand.

Please be aware that our client is looking to secure this candidate asap, though the role won't start until October 2019. This is as 12-month contract.

The Company

Our client is a well-known brand specialist based near Coventry. Being a well-established and large organisation, the digital marketing team works on a wide variety of projects. So plenty of opportunities to gain more experience!

This Paid Media Manager role sits within a 'tight-knit' team, headed up by a fun and motivating E-commerce Manager, who strives to offer personal development and plenty of opportunities to learn for the right candidate.

The Role

  • Reporting and data analysis
  • Hands-on experience of PPC, Social, Display, affiliate channels
  • Campaign management
  • Budget management

This role sits within an experienced digital team of 4, including the E-commerce Manager. As the Paid Media Manager, you will have hands-on experience of setting up and running paid campaigns - this role will see you managing budgets of £60k/month to drive customer acquisition.

This Paid Media Manager will manage external agencies to ensure you're getting the very most out of them and that all channels are fully optimised and delivering ROI. Therefore, hands-on experience and knowledge of PPC, Display, Affiliates and Paid Social is a key element of this role.

You'll also take responsibility for digging deep into data sources, so the ability to interpret data and provide insightful actionable reporting will be invaluable, as will an analytical brain and the ability to use Excel, Google Analytics and other data sources to a high standard.

What's more, there will be opportunities to go on agency visits, as well as the chance to go on relevant training where required.

The Candidate

This is a great opportunity for someone who is perhaps agency side looking to move in-house, or someone who wants exposure to a variety of digital marketing channels with an established brand.

You'll ideally have at least 2 years' experience (or a lot more; we can explore both!) in a Paid Media environment, and will be confident in managing healthy budgets and setting up campaigns designed to maximise customer acquisition and retention.

What's more, this small digital team within a much larger organisation needs people with a real 'can-do' attitude who are confident in their abilities and keen to get stuck in and make a real difference.

You will also need to be able to see the bigger picture and how your input and efforts are adding value to the business overall.
