The role is one of the most vital within the marketing team as you will be responsible for all social media management across the business (both organic and paid) and all content creation - long and short form, this role is demanding, fast paced and would be suit someone with a commercial mindset and the ability to work quickly.
Key responsibilities will be to devise and execute their paid social media campaigns, reporting on set targets and create all social media content both visual and written (for this photoshop skills would be an advantage). You will take ownership of all organic social media channels and feeds and devise a social media calendar for each business in line with business objectives and local, national, global events. You'll work with the wider marketing team to ensure activity on social media compliments other marketing messages and campaigns and constantly identify new audiences that can be targeted via social media campaigns.
You'll be the gatekeeper for the group's tone of voice, and ensure customers are communicated with effectively, and be aware of industry / market news and trends and repurpose the content for the appropriate business.
In terms of content, you will create all short and long form content for the business, including but not limited to: brochures, flyers, property updates, sales emails, social media posts and ads, video content, presentations, website and blog articles.
What we're looking for
A friendly, personable nature with a work hard attitude to get the job done allied with around 3 years of experience within a similar role. Exposure to the property sector would be handy but equally important is solid experience of running multiple social media accounts, both paid and non-paid social media and writing a variety of different content. The standard of product is second to none, and the company philosophy of going the extra mile is evident in the quality of finish & this needs to be encapsulated with the ability to offer ideas for improvement and optimisation. Internally, the marketing department is set up along similar lines to an agency so it may suit someone from this environment looking to move in-house.
