Project Manager (Website Migrations), Epsom (3 days/week) / Remote (2 days/week) – Up to £58k DOE plus benefits

As part of this exciting new role hybrid client-side and agency roles, the Project Manager (Websites Migration) will be responsible for a wide range of activities to support a first-class migration and deployment of the two new websites. This will involve closely working with the incumbent digital agency and business stakeholders, with task management and daily progress meetings to ensure the product outcomes build towards the successfully launching the websites in line with business needs. 

To ensure the website migration work flow is efficiently managed, the Project Manager (Websites Migration) will need to track, test and manage the migration content sign off with key company stakeholders, identify and report on any bottle necks with delivery to maximise the project momentum. The Project Manager (Websites Migration) will also be responsible for managing and briefing the digital agency on the required tasks, ensuring that the workload is prioritised and the backlog/work flow in each sprint are in line with the business needs, priorities and deadlines.

Overview of this Project Manager (Websites Migration) role:

- Key point of contact for company and wider migration team and associated agencies

- Collaborate with all team members to ensure website migration is planned, tracked and delivered to the required timelines

- Understand and interpret project documentation, raising new documentation requirements with the digital agency

- Ensure the GA tagging plans for company brands is consistent across the new Adobe platform

- Highlight any “no go” scenarios and roadblocks that will impact the migration 

- Ensure the migration meets all brand guidelines and website standards

- Conduct content audits to eliminate non-essential and/or duplicate information

- Create and manage appropriate website content migration plans to ensure the new platform continues to meet consumer and business needs

- Ensure content, layout and UX is optimised for the new responsive and adaptive Adobe platform

- Ensure the new platforms meets all website compliance and e-privacy requirements, including ASA, GDPR and FCA regulations

- Ensure the website deployments are in line with the latest industry best practices

- Manage day to day tasks via Jira and attend the agency daily stand up meetings

- Is experienced with working in an agile way and managing multiple work streams

- Ensure all migration instructions are clearly communicated to support a right first-time approach

- Quality control the work output from the digital agency to increase efficiency with stakeholder sign-off

- Ability to work independently, trouble shoot problems and escalate issues where additional support is required

- Knowledge of Jira or similar agile project management tool to manage work flow and migration plans

- Fantastic time management skills with the ability to multi-task

- Wider understanding of website user experience
