£50,000 FTE (Pro Rata)

This role is primarily focussed on attracting, developing and nurturing our talent ensuring it remains both best in class and our competitive edge. You will work across the entire agency supporting managers with their reports as well as coaching senior members of the team.
We are in the process of formalising the training and development of juniors and execs through the establishment of the Distinctly Academy. You will lead on the structure and running of this function and will have the ability to shape and influence it.
Reporting to the Board, you will be instrumental in the growth of the agency, continually improving our offering through a first class learning and development programme. Nurturing talent is key to the success of the agency and you will be required to set an example in approach and work delivery, mentoring and assisting in the training and development of others.
+ Support senior management in planning resource and attracting great talent
+ Shape and inspire a unified and distinct culture across the agency
+ Strengthen our employer brand
+ Coach managers throughout the agency to ensure they understand our processes and are delivering effective line management
+ Lead our charity and social committee
+ Oversee 1-2-1s and progress trackers throughout the agency
+ Mentor line managers and support them to deliver meaningful reviews
+ Lead the learning and development across the agency
+ Identify and manage the delivery of internal training sessions
+ Monitor employee engagement tools and feedback learnings to senior management team
+ Organise and conducting telephone interviews with candidates
+ Prepare offer letters and contracts
+ Manage the onboarding of all new starters
+ Maintain accurate team records
The Perfect Candidate:
+ Experience working in a progressive agency environment preferred
+ Be passionate about employee engagement and understand its importance as a competitive edge
+ Be well versed in human psychology and its impact on performance
+ CIPD qualified
