Your new company
A top four social welfare charity based in central London - this role will be fully remote though so candidates based anywhere in the UK will be accepted. Please note, you must have right to work in the UK to be successful in this position, a work visa will not be provided.

Your new role
Will be to support the wider Communications and Engagement team on content creation. This high-performing team is responsible for engaging key audiences, including 30,000 staff, volunteers and the public using a range of different channels form social, website content, events and printed collateral. You role is to assist the team in drafting written communications, online events, and administrative support to the whole team. The role is to cover while multiple members of the team are on long-term sick, so you will be getting stuck into loads of different projects at any given time. A lot of the content is posted on their internal website through WorkPlace by Facebook but you will also be drafting newsletters, posters and blog posts.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Highly organised, with ability to support processes and systems such a content writing and creation, content scheduling, events admin, maintaining databases, note taking etc
  • Strong communications skills - writing emails and newsletters, drafting web copy, understanding of digital communications tools and ability to learn how to use new tools quickly, such as Google Workspace, Zoom,Google Meet, Mural, JamBoard, Facebook Workplace
  • Experience of events organisation and support, across digital and face to face
  • Good written and oral communications skills, including proven ability to communicate using appropriate styles, methods and timing, including digital channels, to maximise understanding and impact
  • Good interpersonal skills, including the ability to work with different teams, establish credibility, and work collaboratively to solve problems
  • Demonstrable ability to work under pressure, with strong time management and ability to deliver to tight deadlines
