Marketing Officer (Routes to Low Carbon Jobs)
Location: Based anywhere in the North East to cover delivery in Leeds
Salary: £22,000 per annum, pro rata
Hours: Part Time – 20 hours per week
Contract: Fixed Term until December 2023
About the charity
Our client is a leading regeneration charity, working through partnership to create communities in which people are proud to live and work.
Routes to Low Carbon Jobs (RTLCJ) will provide an opportunity for low skilled unemployed individuals to gain access to a supported employment programme which provides work experience opportunities in the Energy Efficiency sector. The charity will engage and recruit unemployed people in Leeds and Wakefield with a view to progress them into the Green Economy and ensure that they receive the following support to enable them to succeed through the programme.
About the role
Working as a member of the Employment Team you will be responsible for the development and implementation of an engagement strategy to support the ongoing requirements of the programme.
As a Marketing Officer you will be responsible for a range of administrative and communication-based tasks, the post holder will be required to work collaboratively with internal and external projects, ensuring achievement of business deadlines and a high level of accuracy and quality.
The role of Marketing Officer is funded through ESF 1.4 as part of the 2014-2020 European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme in England.
A bit about you
In this role you will implement and lead the marketing strategy to support promotion of the programme to increase engagement with potential participants, external organisations and employers. They are therefore seeking someone with strong marketing and communication skills, together with an enthusiastic and flexible approach to work.
You will have excellent customer service skills, both written and verbal and proven experience of using a wide range of information technology, including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, in addition to experience of using social media, and design software.
